How Our Insulation Process Works
From your first phone call to the final quality check, every All Star project follows a clear 7-step process. No surprises, no shortcuts, no guesswork.
A lot of insulation companies show up, do the work, and leave. At All Star Home Insulation, we believe the experience should be as solid as the insulation. That means clear communication at every step, honest pricing, professional work, and a result you can feel the moment your AC kicks on.
Steven Grinie started this company because he saw too many contractors cutting corners and leaving homeowners in the dark. Our 7-step process exists to make sure that never happens with an All Star project. Here is exactly what to expect when you work with us.
Step 1: Discovery Call
You call us at (254) 831-3027 or submit a request through our website. We ask about your home, your comfort concerns, and your goals. This helps us understand what you are dealing with before we visit.
Timeline: 5 to 10 minutes
Step 2: Free In-Home Assessment
Steven or a senior technician visits your home at a time that works for you. We inspect your attic, measure existing insulation depth and R-value, check for air leaks, look for moisture or pest damage, and assess overall energy performance. We use thermal imaging when needed to identify hidden problems.
Timeline: 45 to 60 minutes
Step 3: Detailed Estimate and Recommendation
Within 24 hours of your assessment, you receive a detailed written estimate by text or email. It includes exactly what work we recommend, the materials we will use, the total cost, and a secure link for financing if needed. There is no pressure and no obligation. We encourage you to compare our quote with other contractors.
Timeline: Delivered within 24 hours
Step 4: Job Booking
When you are ready to move forward, we schedule your installation at a date and time that works for your household. Most jobs are booked within 1 to 2 weeks, and we confirm your appointment the day before.
Timeline: Scheduled within 1 to 2 weeks
Step 5: Pre-Install Preparation
Our crew arrives on time and prepares your home before any work begins. We lay protective coverings over floors, furniture, and belongings in the work area. We explain the plan, answer any last questions, and make sure you know what to expect.
Timeline: 15 to 20 minutes
Step 6: Installation Day
Our trained installers complete the work to specification using professional-grade equipment. For attic blown-in insulation, we evenly distribute the material to the recommended depth across the entire attic floor. For radiant barrier, we secure reflective foil to the underside of roof rafters. For air sealing, we close every gap around ducts, pipes, wires, and access points. Most residential projects are completed in a single day.
Timeline: 3 to 8 hours depending on scope
Step 7: Post-Installation Quality Check
After the work is done, we walk through the results with you. We show you the before-and-after measurements, clean up the work area thoroughly, and make sure everything meets our standards and your expectations. We also provide care instructions and warranty documentation. Your satisfaction is what builds our reputation.
Timeline: 15 to 20 minutes
